Two circles sit on the field and you tap them back and forth as fast as you can without missing. Across five stages they shrink and move further apart, so holding the same speed starts costing accuracy — and that trade-off is the whole measurement. Each stage becomes a throughput figure in bits per second: how much difficulty your hand cleared per second of movement. Missing locks input briefly, so hammering the screen scores almost nothing. Forty-five movements based on the Fitts task used in ergonomics.

Over five stages the circles shrink and move further apart, so the same speed starts costing you accuracy — that trade-off is exactly what is being measured. Each stage is scored as throughput in bits per second: how much difficulty you got through per second of movement. Miss the circle and input locks for a quarter of a second, which is why hammering the screen at random scores almost nothing. Take longer than three seconds over a single move and it is written off, and a stage you never finish counts as zero. Forty-five movements in all, maximum 1000 points.
