๐ง Pitch Discrimination Test: How Fine Is Your Ear?
Three tones play in a row. Two are identical and one sits slightly above or below them, and you pick the odd one out. Correct answers shrink the difference and wrong ones widen it, so after ten rounds the value converges on your discrimination threshold, measured in cents โ a semitone is 100. The reference pitch changes every round, so absolute pitch gives no advantage. Headphones and a quiet room strongly recommended.

๐ก How to play โ Three tones play one after another. Two are identical and one is slightly higher or lower โ the prompt tells you which to listen for, and you pick that card. Get it right and the difference shrinks; get it wrong and it widens. After ten rounds this converges on your discrimination threshold, measured in cents (a semitone is 100 cents). The reference pitch changes every round, so absolute pitch will not help you. Headphones and a quiet room are strongly recommended.
