โ Balance Scale Test: Transitive Reasoning
Several balance scales are shown at once, and each one only tells you which of two objects is heavier. The pair you are actually asked about is never weighed directly, so the scattered facts have to be chained into a single order in your head. Some rounds genuinely cannot be settled from what you are given, and there saying so is the right answer. Counting is no help either: the two objects in the question always win and lose the same number of times. Twelve rounds of integrating premises into one relation.
๐ก How to play โ Several balance scales are shown at once, each one weighing a single pair of objects against each other. Nowhere on the screen is the pair you are actually asked about โ you have to chain the scales together to work it out. Sometimes the scales genuinely do not settle the question, and saying so is the correct answer. Counting will not help: the two objects in the question always win and lose the same number of times among the scales shown. Twelve rounds, 20 seconds each. A correct answer is worth 100 and a wrong one costs 50, so guessing between the three buttons is worth exactly nothing. Answering quickly multiplies your total by up to 1.5, for a maximum of 1800.
